In celebration of National Family Caregivers Month, Aging 100 and Blissful Hearts Healthcare Services Announce Partnership to Expand In-Home Care Support for Older Adults and Family Caregivers
ATLANTA, GA - November 1, 2026 - Aging 100, an Atlanta-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older adults live longer, healthier, and more connected lives, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Blissful Hearts Healthcare Services to expand access to essential nonmedical in-home care and caregiver support.
The partnership will introduce a community-based home care assistance initiative designed to support older adults and families experiencing financial hardship, caregiving challenges, or limited access to dependable in-home services.
Through the proposed pilot program, qualifying families will each receive in-home care, including an initial registered nurse (RN) assessment to help determine individual care needs.
Services may include:
Companionship and Household Support: Social engagement, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with daily routines.
Personal Care Assistance: Support with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and other daily living activities.
Comprehensive In-Home Support: A personalized combination of companionship, household assistance, and personal care based on individual needs.
The initiative is designed to help older adults maintain their dignity, safety, and independence while providing temporary relief to family members who often balance caregiving responsibilities with work, family, and other commitments.
"At Aging 100, we recognize that healthy aging doesn't happen in isolation. It takes a community of support, resources, and compassionate care," said Angela King, Founder of Aging 100. "Through this partnership with Blissful Hearts Healthcare Services, we hope to ease some of the challenges families face while helping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This initiative is another meaningful step toward our mission of helping seniors reach the age of 100 and beyond with dignity, purpose, and joy."
Blissful Hearts Healthcare Services will provide trained caregivers, individualized care coordination, appropriate supervision, and documentation of services delivered. The partnership will also create opportunities to connect participating families with additional resources for continued support.
The proposed pilot represents the beginning of a potentially longer-term collaboration. As funding and community partnerships grow, Aging 100 and Blissful Hearts Healthcare Services hope to expand the initiative to reach more households, extend care services, and respond to evolving community needs.
"This partnership reflects our shared commitment to ensuring older adults and their families have access to compassionate, dependable support," said Martha Jean Jacques, Founder & Administrator of Blissful Hearts Healthcare Services.
Together, Aging 100 and Blissful Hearts Healthcare Services are working to make healthy aging more accessible while strengthening the network of support available to older adults and those who care for them.
